Just a little titbit, the vehicle behind the cop is an “MRAP vehicle” which is short for “Mine Resistance and Ambush Protected Vehicle” Have worked and built some of those. Permit me to say that, the only thing saver than those vehicles is “God’s grace”

Just for the fun, an escroc in french (sounds like escrow) is a crook … LOL
So each time I comment that ECOP.com is an escrow service, here people smile!

In a side note, for sure, all the domains I did not use are for sale.

Given that your site features that striking photograph, eCop.com is the IDEAL domain name for your service. Although some marketing will be required to associate the name in people’s minds with secure domain escrow services, as Jim pointed out, the strength of your domain name is this: In combination with that photograph, once people see an ad for your site even once, they will find the name almost unforgettable. What is more, Francois, “eCop” conveys the idea of online security. If you ever did purchase Cop.com, I expect that most of your internet traffic would consist of people browsing for stories about policemen; and you would lose the association of online security. I would even venture to suggest the “eCop” is preferable as a name to Escrow.com in two respects: (1) “Escrow” is a relatively technical financial term that typically only people with mortgages or domainers are familiar with, whereas “eCop” is immediately intelligible to a wide audience; (2) “Escrow” will attract a lot of internet traffic not interested in online transactions but simply browsing the internet to understand how to buy a condo, but “eCop” targets an audience that is curious about online transactions and might one day purchase one or more domains.

I like the name, but not necessarily for this service. You will need a lot of promo and marketing to link the concept to the domain name. Nevertheless, good luck with the venture, seems like a promising venture and a needed service.

This will definitely be a good service specially part time domainers like me who doesn’t have that much finances. I could exchange a few good domains for a domain that matches the verticals I’d like to develop.
